| 1. Cash Donations – Providing warm and welcoming services for clients by specially trained experts | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Why I should donate: At the Children’s Justice Center, all of our services are free, at no cost to the child victim or family. This would not be possible without the help of contributions from the community to support programming, child advocacy services, crisis intervention services, parent education materials, and specialized training for investigators. The program was established as a private/public partnership, receiving limited funds from the state legislature. Funding resources are especially important at this time as our caseload continues to rise, with over 3,500 people served annually. We rely on community donations to support the program. Your tax-deductible contribution would be used wisely to help us provide a safe, comfortable place for our clients to share details about a frightening experience that could possibly change their lives forever. Help us tame the trauma caused by child abuse. Click here for our holiday cash donations! |

| 2. Caroling Awareness Campaign- "Sing your hearts out to kids" | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Goals:
Approach: Holiday volunteer groups will go out caroling to homes in a region(s) they've selected, and the CJC will provide the groups with brochures to pass out to the community. The groups will have to put together their own strategic plans as to what songs they want to sing and when they want to carry out this project. The groups are encouraged to take photos of their caroling experience to be posted on the CJC's Facebook page. Groups are encouraged to dress up in the spirit of the holidays such as Santa hats and Reindeer ears. Items CJC Will Provide for Caroling Groups:

| 3. Community Collections – "Tis the season to be giving..." | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Why We Do It: CJC relies on donated items to support the clients and services we provide. Community groups are the best at gathering items on our needs list to help us serve 3,400 child victims of crime and affected family members each year. Approach: One way is to do a collection drive in your neighborhoods and then have a designated day to pick up the items from your neighbors. It helps to give families a flyer on the Children’s Justice Center program, so they know who they are helping and how they are making a difference. We also include our safety tips for kids in the flyers, so that we can help keep kids safe and protect them from crime. Items CJC Will Provide for Groups: 1. Brochures about the charity, ways to make a difference, and safety tips for kids CJC's Needs List:

| 4."T.G.I.F." - Jeans Day at Work | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Companies can collect donations year round by allowing their employees to wear nice blue jeans to work on Fridays by contributing to the donation jar to support the Children’s Justice Center Charity. Employees love the reward of a relaxed day at work and giving to a worthy charity to help child victims of crime overcome their experiences. Companies can set their own donation price (per person) of $1, $2, or $5 for every TGIF Jeans' Day. Donations totals are often announced at the yearend company celebration and then donated to the charity in December. Tours can be provided of the center for the company employees.
